Whats more is that third-party plugins like Celemonys Melodyne 5 Editor. Here is my workaround for when I can't do it my preferred way(assuming its a vocal track):ġ-duplicate the playlist(so the original audio remains available)Ģ-create a new/blank audio track above the track that needs Melodyne.ģ-using an open mono bus, SEND this new track to the input of the vocal track(make this send PRE_fader*).ĥ-when you find a part that needs Melodyne, highlight the area and use the CUT command>move the cursor up to the blank track and PASTE. The aspect of it that I find the coolest is probably its ability to follow. That’s the main difference between Melodyne and other pitch correction software. Celemony Melodyne does the process smoothly without indulging in the originality of the track.
Hmmm, My preference is to tune the entire vocal track and then commit so I can do edits(like cut/copy/paste/move/stretch) on the tuned audio.
